Brian Molisse, the owner of Molisse Realty Group, puts community service at the forefront of his business philosophy. And it's not just lip service. Molisse and his colleagues recently started a non-profit charitable organization called Molisse Realty Gives Foundation, LLC

"Realtors from both offices volunteered their time to get the foundation up and running," Molisse said. "One of our goals is to give back to as many people as we can because everyone's been so great to us. We want to do what we can to keep people in their homes. Whether it's their heating system issue or a roof that's leaking, we want to help homeowners."

This philanthropic venture is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable group, and Molisse and his team of sales agents are currently brainstorming ways that the foundation can help individuals and communities. Not only does he offer his clients and area charitable organizations free use of a 14-foot moving truck, but he also sponsors local athletic teams and cultural arts organizations.

A large kick-off event is in the works for the foundation, but this is just one way Molisse and his team help those in need. Any client of the firm who buys or sells their home is offered free use of a Molisse moving truck, fully equipped with moving blankets, ramp and dolly. Molisse Realty Group owns two vans that countless individuals and charitable groups have borrowed.

Any non-profit organization in the area can borrow a Molisse truck at no charge, and groups such as Cradles to Crayons, ARC of the South Shore, the Elks in Weymouth, Sowing Seeds in Marshfield, local Rotary Clubs, Boy Scout troops and the Salvation Army have all taken advantage of this offering. The Weymouth High School Marching Band has also used the van to transport their instruments and supplies.

"We've had so many charities use our moving trucks. It's free to use, and all we ask is that it be returned with a full tank of gas, which is how we send it out. Care Packs in Weymouth is a local group who use our truck often to collect donations for the troops from Boston-area businesses. Anyone who can justify it can use it. It's well-equipped," Molisse said.

Molisse suggests that clients and charitable organizations book the truck early. Many closings occur at the end of each month, which is also a busy time for the truck to go on loan. Individuals and groups can contact Molisse at info@molisserealty.net to inquire about the van. Molisse thought of the idea for the van five years ago at a trade show in California. It has been a huge hit with clients and various groups in numerous towns who do not have ready access to a large van and moving equipment.

Molisse also sponsors numerous baseball, hockey and softball teams. He receives numerous requests to sponsor different athletic teams, and he is often quick to say "yes." Other area lacrosse, flag football and football teams have borrowed the moving van to transport their equipment. Molisse Realty was also the lead sponsor for the North River Arts Festival in Marshfield this year. Community service is a way of life for Molisse and his group of Realtors®.

"We want to help people in need," Molisse said. "It's our way to give back to the community."

Molisse Realty Group is located at 23 Snow Road in Webster Square in Marshfield and at 636 Middle St. in Shaw's Plaza in Weymouth.
