                    Smith is the founder of Curaytor and the co-host of the weekly web show "Water Cooler" and is known as a digital marketing guru. He was invited to speak at the association by the Education Committee which strives to bring quality programs to the PASS membership. The premise of Peoplework  is "how to run a people first business in a digital first world" and the message is two-fold; we live in a day and age of amazing advanced technology and mentioned were some amazing programs that will help with everything from daily organization, food delivery, to finding out where all your friends are at any given moment.                     photo (4)Realtor® Day on Beacon Hill is an annual event that was held most recently on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

                    It is a political action day, a day that brings members of the Realtor® community from all across Massachusetts (by the busload!) to Boston, meeting at the State House in Beacon Hill, presenting a united front and acting as "the voice of real estate" to advocate on behalf of homeowner rights and concerns.

                    The 2014 Legislative issues that the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® are currently showing support for are the issues of Copper Pipe Theft Prevention, Flood Insurance Reform, Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief, Appraisal Management Regulation, and Debt Management Services Regulation while opposition is being shown to Room Occupancy Taxes and Land Use Reform, as drafted.

                    The morning program began with breakfast in the Great Hall followed by the Keynote Address by House Speaker Bob DeLeo. Opportunity was then presented for individual meetings with local legislators and plenty of photos were taken to memorialize the day. Brian Molisse who is the Owner/Broker of Molisse Realty Group and President-Elect to the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors is a regular attendee at Realtor Day on Beacon Hill and joining him this year from Molisse Realty Group were Realtors® Trish Pierce, Lenny Rowe, Gina Michini, and Ed Ford.

                    The day long orientation class was recently held on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 at the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors® located in Pembroke.

                    The agents meet at 9:30 am for coffee and a light breakfast and take advantage of an opportunity to network and catch up with each other regarding new listings, recent closings, as well as local happenings.

                    Promptly at 10:00 am-the Weymouth Broker Tour begins! The Agents are given a tour schedule that features approximately 10 new Weymouth listings. Today, June 13th, 2014, the tour began from the office of Molisse Realty Group and consisted of the following new listings:

                    o2.     135 Randolph St. 6. 53 Alewife Lane 10. 90 Sea St, U-114

                    Once the agents head out of the office, the tour runs like a well-oiled machine. There can be 10-15 vehicles (if not more) in procession, all following each other throughout the town. The agents are in and out of each home for a quick preview within minutes before moving onto the next home on the schedule.

                    Touring allows agents to preview new to market listings for potential buyer clients, and also allows the listing agent to showcase their new listing to the agents who very likely may produce a buyer. It is not uncommon for an agent to pick up their cell phone during the tour to contact a buyer about a property that has just been seen.

                    The great feature of this tour is that it is not exclusive to one company-it is open to all agents and the more who participate, the better the tour can be!

                    As Realtors® across the state of Massachusetts prepare for Realtor® Day on the Hill taking place in Boston tomorrow, June 11th, 2014, we revisit our experience from last year:

                    June 5, 2013- Realtor Day on Beacon Hill is an opportunity for Realtors® to advocate for the rights of Home Ownership and address concerns to legislators regarding issues in the real estate industry.

                    In attendance this year is a large group from Molisse Realty Group, including Owner/Broker Brian Molisse, along with fellow Realtors Trish Pierce, Lenny Rowe, Mayra Connolly, Ann-Marie Baker, Jim Moscardelli, Gina Michini, Maryellen Boudreau, Denise Rannou, John Cullen, and Joyce Fossella.

                    The day begins with breakfast in the Great Hall of the State House, followed by a Keynote Address by Martha Coakly, the Massachusetts Attorney General.

                    A group photo will be taken of all participants, and then everyone will meet back at the Great Hall and get together for a networking luncheon and an opportunity to meet with local legislatures.
