Kim DeGust has lived on the South Shore since 1995. Originally from Oklahoma, she attended Oklahoma State University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
In 2003 she graduated Cum Laude from New England Law Boston. Once she started working in Real Estate, Kim realized that it was what she was meant to do.
"The first buyer I represented was an Iraq War Veteran and a first time home buyer. He bought a home on the water in Quincy which became a peaceful retreat for him. I was delighted to help make that happen for him."
Kim lives in Marshfield with her husband Bob who is a lifelong Marshfield resident, and in her free time enjoys the local beaches, dining at area restaurants, reading, and country music.
Kim is an active member of the South Shore Women's Business Network where she writes the "Above and Beyond" column for the Network's monthly newsletter. Kim refers to herself a cheerleader for women in business. "I love writing the column because it gives me an opportunity to remind women it is okay to promote themselves and talk about their accomplishments." Kim is also involved in the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce and the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors where she was recently named to the 2013 PASS Honor Society.
Kim enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community and has served on the special events committee for DOVE, Inc.'s (Domestic Violence Ended) annual Harvesting Hope Fundraiser. Some of Kim's other volunteer activities include the Friends of Mel Conference, the MA Conference for Women, and Vacation Bible School at her church.
